Simon Brown

Based in London, Simon Brown is an experienced interior, still life and people photographer with an international reputation. His work is both artistic and journalistic, portraying the beauty of the home in all its diversity, which he often romanticises and bathes in atmospheric daylight.  The use of north light, favoured by painters, is a particular influence in his photography.

​In a career dating back more than thirty years, Simon’s photographs have been published in books and magazines worldwide, while his personal work is available through specialist galleries.

Largely self-taught, he attended The Medway College of Design, before starting his career in 1983 at a photographic studio in Chelsea, London.  Today, Simon’s work is published in The World of Interiors, House & Garden, Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair and Vogue, while a growing portfolio of commercial clients include Kit Kemp and Firmdale Hotels, Lucky Onion Group, Soho House, The Ned, University Arms Hotel, Colefax & Fowler, de Gournay, Beata Heuman and many more.

Taylor Hall O’Brien

Taylor Hall O’Brien received his first camera at 13 and never looked back. Self-taught, his professional career began in fashion, working both as a fashion photographer and modelling agent, before shifting his focus to interiors. His experience in fashion directly influences his sensibilities regarding dynamic composition, attention to detail, and openness to an unconventional approach. His work has been commissioned by numerous interiors and fashion clients and has been featured in countless publications, including The World of Interiors, Cabana, Vogue, WWD, L’Officiel, The Cut, and more. Taylor has never met a stranger and finds delight in the process of image-making from start to finish. He strives to make every project streamlined, inclusive, and fun. Taylor’s most important roles are husband and father. He has a son, Henry, and beloved dog, Barley. Taylor and his family reside in the US but often travel internationally for work and leisure.

Sasha Gusov

Sasha Gusov was first introduced to photography at the age of 13 and moved to England from his native Russia in 1989, establishing his credentials as ‘an image-maker with something to say’ in 1993, when a self-commissioned project ‘Images of the Bolshoi Ballet’ was published by the British Journal of Photography.  Sasha is a photographer who is intrigued by the human comedy of manners and his archive is a richly diverse and interesting resource of portraits of leading artists from theatre, music and dance.  Widely published, his work includes a collection of photographic books, which include Photography (2014), Bolshoi Ballet (2017 and Michelangelo (2018).

James McDonald

James McDonald is an experienced interior photographer based in London. Self taught, he has been working professionally for 12 years.

Commissions extend from the UK, Europe and the Middle East as far as Africa, Asia and America, and James’s photographs (and frequently accompanying text) have been published in magazines, such as House & Garden, The World of InteriorsVogue Living and Cabana.

The author and photographer of a book on Alnwick Castle, James was also the special photographer on interior designer Alidad’s book, The Timeless Home, and continues to work with international publishers.

In addition he takes on private commissions, still life and portraits, for high profile families where trust and reliability matter.

James’s versatility, work ethic, editorial eye and attention to detail have endeared him to leading interior designers, new restaurants and hotels as well as the world’s leading auction houses.  He is adept in difficult lighting conditions, able to capture the atmosphere of an interior balancing both natural and artificial light.

Boz Gagovski

Boz Gagovski was involved in marketing and gardening before making a move to follow his passion for photography. Photographing interiors happened as a consequence of his appreciation of design and being surrounded by friends who are obsessed with interior decoration. 

He is a London based interior photographer who photographs projects for some of the leading English interior design studios and interiors publications. With a keen eye for beautiful light and creative composition, he is always aiming to reflect the mood and atmosphere of any place and create an appealing visual story.

Antonio Monfreda

Antonio Monfreda has always been interested in the world of contemporary and modern art in relation to collecting, interiors and portfolios. Following a few years with private bankers, Rothschilds in London, he returned to his hometown of Rome and joined forces with Mauro Nicoletti. Together they developed links between creative events, fashion and art and established an international network of collectors, collaborators and patrons.

Monfreda’s next move came as Project Manager to a group of photographers and artists, including Mario Testino, which in turn led to a joint venture with Patrick Kinmonth, the opera director and multidisciplinary artist and designer, masterminding and developing collaborations with institutions in the world of art and fashion.

International editor since the very first issue of the successful magazine Cabana, Monfreda turned his talent to the photography of interiors and lifestyle, More recently he was appointed Art Director for Bally, thus maintaining his strong links with both fashion and interior design.
